Celebrate Pride with CentralWorld

SOCIAL & LIFESTYLE

CentralWorld celebrates Pride month through activities under "CentralWorld Free To Be" throughout June.

Held in collaboration with organisations including the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the host of International Queen 2022 Tiffany's Show Pattaya and global dating application Tinder, the campaign is aimed to promote equality and gender diversity (LGBTI).

Standing proud at CentralWorld Square is "Pride Wave", a rainbow installation measuring 7m in length and 3.5m in height, to represent an empowering society. Tinder users who show their profile with a photo of the "Pride Wave" will receive a free Pride lollipop, every Friday to Sunday from noon.

Then, visit the "People Of Pride" exhibition which gathers photographs of celebrities and their inspirational messages, on the first floor of Atrium zone.

The "Pride Together Party" is a chance to have fun with popular artists and celebrities including Off Pongsak and teams from Drag Race Thailand and Tiffany's Show Pattaya. It will take place at CentralWorld Live, 8th floor, on Friday from 5pm to midnight.

On June 20 from 1pm to 4.30pm, prepare to witness Miss International Queen 2022 which will bring 24 beauty queens from around the world, including Kwanlada "Rock" Rungrojampa from Thailand, to contest in the "National Costume Presentation" and "Talent Quest" rounds; and join the "Pride Talk" where celebrities will present good stories that pass on the power of pride, on the first floor of Eden zone.

The same day will also see a screening of Coming To You, at SF World Cinema, at 6pm. It is a South Korean documentary shot in a society deep-rooted with prejudice and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. There is no admission fee.
