Muji Retail (Thailand) celebrates the first anniversary of its concept store at Central Chidlom with a campaign, highlighted by new products and customer experiences as well as a lucky draw.

Until July 10, for each 1,000 baht purchase, shoppers can enter a lucky draw to win a bead sofa, luggage or other Muji products and cash vouchers.

Located on the 7th floor, the Muji Concept Store spanning 1,800m² accommodates a variety of products, from apparel and cosmetics to household goods and stationery.

The Bann Muji showcases furniture and home decor items while the food and bakery zone is complemented by the Muji Coffee Corner, where strawberry birthday shortcakes mark the first anniversary.

The concept store expresses the brand identity and shows how Muji products fit into everyday life.

"Muji is not only a brand but also a lifestyle. We want Muji to be a community or a centre connecting people to build a good relationship and create a sustainable society, through a variety of activities as well as promoting sustainable development values through the production process of Muji products," said Akihiro Kamogari, managing director of Muji Retail (Thailand).

The commitment to sustainability encompasses providing products that are good for people, nature and the environment.

The Japanese lifestyle brand has collaborated with ML Chiratorn Chirapravati and his artist students for a good cause. Under the "Pleasant Life" theme, they designed illustrations on organic cotton bags, whose proceeds -- without deduction of expenses -- will go to the Foundation For Children in supporting kids' education.
