Experience flower extravaganza at three Central locations

Central Chidlom, centralwOrld and Central Embassy are in full bloom, transformed into a floral paradise where shoppers can shop at leisure amidst countless flowers. All the highlights are blooming at Central Chidlom, which is the original location where the signature ’Flower Festival’ is being hosted annually. Walk into Central Hall on the 1st floor of Central Chidlom and you have arrived! The venue is lined with rattan pillars decorated with colourful flowers in hot and cool tones, while three-floor-tall panels made with braided rattan strips filled with colourful blossoms create a perfect backdrop to strike a few poses with.

A rabbit gets a leading role as it symbolises fertility, representing how Central department stores always have everything its customers seek. Each floor has a different theme to befit the category of goods, with replicas of rabbits hanging around. Check @de paper flowers that are crafted by inmates in Nakhon Ratchasima. One of the most photogenic spots is on the kid's floor (6th floor), where you can moon-bathe with a giant rabbit in a flowery meadow.

The tunnel walkway linking Central Chidlom and Central Embassy is filled with countless majestic orchids that are fused with stalks, stems and leaves to create wondrous hanging decorations. At Central Embassy, the G floor is decorated with aluminium floral creations in line with the eco-friendly mindset, where all the aluminium flowers will be turned into prosthetic limbs for the disabled after the event. University students' art exhibition, 'Area 107', is on display at Open House, along with watercolour and acrylic flower-painting workshops.

centralwOrld gets a different vibe with ‘wildflowers’. It has been transformed into a metaphorical paradise where gods and guardians can rest. The ‘mysterious forest’ on the 1st floor, along with the areas around the escalators, are lined with wildflowers, plants and fresh fruits, which represent the tribute to the holy ones.

The flower festival at Central Chidlom and centralwOrld is on display until the end of the month, while the event at Central Embassy runs through Nov 9.

In addition to elaborate flower displays, visitors can tempt their taste buds with exclusive dishes that are prettied up with blossoms. The festive menu is available at Central Chidlom's Public Market and Lofter, centralwOrld's Living House and Central Embassy's Eathai until Oct 31.
