"New" is the concept of the 7th edition of "Hotel Art Fair", which makes a comeback with a new story of a new era, at The Standard Bangkok Mahanakhon, Narathiwat Ratchanakharin Road, from Thursday to Sunday.

Held by Farmgroup, this long-anticipated post-Covid art event will offer a new experience in the world of art with the aim to connect new crowds with common interests in art, music and lifestyle.

It's a good opportunity for artists to meet up with fans in a cosy, relaxed and relatable vibe, and also a platform to help promote the Thai art industry to the international market.

This year, 28 participating art galleries and artists from across Thailand and Southeast Asia will be showcasing their finest selections. They will be joined by guest celebrity curators Rika Dila, Vasu Virajsilp and Juthathum Chirathivat.

The trio will be co-exhibiting their prized pieces at the Guest Celebrity Curator Rooms where everyone can get up close with their personal collections or their favourite artists' creations on display in a uniquely crafted space.

Art Tank Media is sponsoring the "Art Tank Talk" forum, offering four topics of discussion: "Trend of Thai Art Investment" on Thursday at 3pm; "Art Crush" on Saturday at 2.30pm; "Fireside Chat About Life And Art" on Saturday at 4.30pm; and "Gen Of Art Toys" on Sunday at 2.30pm.

In keeping the spirit of the original fair alive, this exhibition maintains its usual easy and relaxing vibe with the clever use of the hip hotel's space as a "home to the arts". That's why the vast area of 30 rooms out of 155 within The Standard Bangkok Mahanakhon have been chosen for the showcase.

The first day of the fair is reserved for art collectors. Members of the public are invited on Friday from 11am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 10pm.

There is no admission fee. Visit hotelartfair.com.
