The British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN) is holding "Ploenchit Fair 2022", a fun day out for friends and families, at Bangkok Patana School, Sukhumvit 105 (La Salle Road), on Saturday from 10am to 9pm.

The annual multi-cultural event will bring all-time favourite rides for children, including hand spin boats, slip and slide, shooting gallery, water roller ball, happy train and bungy jump, plus popular game stalls and much more. As usual, Clown Eckie and Father Christmas will be on hand to meet and greet visitors.

This is a chance to indulge in tantalising treats and delicious food from a wide array of international cuisine while being serenaded by live music by celebrated bands on stage.

Also, expect to have a shopping spree and enjoy raffles with thousands of prizes waiting to be won.

Parking is available at the school. A free shuttle bus is available from BTS Bangna Skytrain station, exit one. Luggage facilities, ATMs and basic medical services are also available onsite.

Ploenchit Fair is the biggest and longest-running fair in Asia and was launched in 1957.

The BCTFN has raised over 145 million baht through the event to support disabled people and self-sustaining developments in agricultural, education and medical projects nationwide.

Tickets cost 300 baht (150 baht for children under 12 years) and can be purchased from ticketmelon.com.
