The Buddhika Network Foundation and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation have recently launched an online channel to help provide food support for those in need through the Line application.

Interested food shops and donors across the country are invited to join the "Pun Kun Im (Pay It Forward)" charity project which now makes it easier for them to be givers while helping people in a wider area who can't afford food.

Initiated in late 2018, the project encourages people to share food to those in need by paying money to the participating food shops which then give away the meals to needy people.

The project got a lot of support from restaurants and donors during the Covid-19 pandemic and provided over 30,000 meals worth more than 1 million baht to deprived people during the past three years.

With the introduction of the project's Line account, the sharing can be done online and also cover a wider area to make sure that people living with difficulties elsewhere have access to this assistance.

From now on, everyone can just add Line @payitforward and choose the food shop they want to make a money transfer to. After payment, they are required to send the slip to the shop.

Through this official account on Line, needy people can check for the food shops closest to them that are ready to share their food. Then, they can just go to the shop and scan the QR code in order to get the food.
