The supply and use of cannabis at retail dispensaries, restaurants and cafes has grown at an incredible pace, but do we really know the safe and sensible way to engage with this plant?
"The Safe And Responsible Use Of Cannabis" is the topic of the next in The Future List Dinner Talk series, which will take place at Mango Tree restaurant, Surawong Road, on Thursday, at 6pm.
Presented by Koktail magazine, the evening is a chance to learn about the correct use of the medical plant, which is entering the lives of many in the Kingdom.
The speaker will be Chokwan "Kitty" Chopaka, a long-time cannabis advocate, who will explain the nitty-gritty details and its positive, beneficial uses to society.
She will shed light on all the do's and don'ts for cannabis, the best practices and help raise awareness on how the benefits can be integrated into our lives. She will also answer questions at the end of her presentation.
Tickets cost 2,140 baht and can be purchased from megatix.in.th. They include wines and a two-course dinner. Registration starts at 6pm with wines and networking with friends, new and old, before dinner starts at 7.30pm.
Part of the proceeds will go to Childline Thailand Foundation, a helpline for children in need, to provide help and emotional support.
