Fronting the "Unexpected Wonders" campaign, Thai-born Blackpink member Lisa is Bulgari's daring muse.

Her ultra-feminine and ultra-determined style makes her the face of Bvlgari Bvlgari and a collaborator for limited-edition timepieces powered by a quartz movement.

Launched in 1975 as Bvlgari Roma, the watch was renamed two years later. The design featured the letters of Bvlgari Bvlgari stamped on the bezel, like the emperor's name on ancient Roman coins.

The 14 letters are exuberantly displayed on the rose-gold bezel of the steel Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa Limited Edition while the dial is resolutely minimalist.

The Italian luxury house created a pure and idyllic colour -- green, blue, perhaps tinged with purple -- specifically for this collaboration.

Surprising as Lisa herself, the shade subtly shifts with the light on the dial's finely sunray pattern.

Diamonds mark the hours on this dreamy face, swept over by two rose gold hands while the crown in the same alloy is topped by the signature cabochon-cut rubellite.

The case back is centred by an engraving of edelweiss and the letter L. The K-pop star personally designed this rendering of the Alpine flower and drew her initial at the heart of the petals.

Accompanied by her signature, the personalisation appears on the box as well.

Manufactured in Switzerland, the Bvlgari Bvlgari x Lisa Limited Edition is issued in 700 pieces for the 33mm model and 300 for the 23mm iteration.

The caseback is centred by an engraving of the edelweiss and L.
