The street will bring together art, the story of Chana communities, and natural resources of forests, rice fields and oceans into an alley on Damrong Pattana Road, tambon Ban Na.
Decorated with colourful art and exhibitions, the street will showcase the vibrant cultures and abundant natural resources of the coastal city of Chana.
Visitors will learn traditional Japanese methods of sourcing fish from the sea, batik painting, how to make a birdcage and keychain out of local materials, and the soil-dye technique to make cloth in the workshop zone.
Also enjoy live music and cultural performance as you explore Chana's local cuisine in the food zone. Booths of fresh seafood from Chana's oceans and local dishes from across the district will line the street.
One of the highlights will be the launch of a data-visualised website of how the government's controversial Chana Industrial Project would impact the local communities. The data has been gathered by Chana locals and Greenpeace Thailand over the past two years.
