This will be an afternoon of flute, harp and piano with flautist Kalaya Phongsathorn joining hands with young harpist Pasatorn Stieniti in a concert of French compositions focusing on beautiful, yet underrated, works by female composers.

The highlight will be on contemporary Thai music for the flute. Kalaya will perform colourful sonatas by Morakot Cherdchoo-ngarm, one of the most beloved composers of our time, in collaboration with energetic pianist in residence Pana Yonthararak.

The compositions highlight Thai musical idioms with an elaborate piano part, crafted with a profound understanding of Western music harmony in the French compositional style.

Kalaya is a renowned flute and piccolo player with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. Her artistry is unparalleled, having performed under the baton of esteemed maestros and alongside world-class soloists.

A master of the harp, Pasatorn captivates audiences with his ethereal and enchanting performances. With his compositions showcased on international stages and a multitude of awards to his name, he effortlessly blends tradition with innovation.

Completing this exceptional trio is pianist Pana, whose talent knows no boundaries. He has won prestigious competitions and studied under acclaimed masters across Europe.
