L'Oréal Groupe in Thailand has been recognised by the World Architecture Community for the design of its new Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia headquarters in Bangkok. The award, for Interior Design in the Workplaces category, marks the first time an office in Thailand has been honoured with this award during the 47th cycle of the renowned architecture community's prestigious regular selection.

L'Oréal's "Baan Beauté" reaffirms the beauty conglomerate's status as a leading workplace for new generations, with a beautiful and modern space designed to cater to diverse working styles and needs. The state-of-the-art facilities provide a seamless workflow, and their innovative, energy-saving, green design embodies L'Oréal's long-standing sustainability commitment.

"We worked closely with the multiple-award-winning design studio DWP, which brought its expertise to the table to interpret our idea of a nice-looking and modern workplace for a beauty company with superior taste into the design of Baan Beauté. Our new workspace is not only outstanding for its aesthetics but also answers the diverse needs and working styles of our employees. The recognition from the World Architecture Community is a testament to our dedication to the well-being of our people. We strive to be an organisation that our employees are proud of," said Patrick Girod, chief executive officer of L'Oréal Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.

The World Architecture Community is a platform for leading and upcoming architects from all over the world to showcase their designs, including works by renowned studios, rising stars and design students. The acclaimed World Architecture Community Awards (WA Awards) highlight and recognise remarkable projects that have the potential to inspire exciting questions about contemporary architectural discourse. Member studios can submit their work for the WA Awards and shortlisted projects for each category are selected by the WA Awards Jury, composed of a mixture of the organisation's Honorary Members and previous WA Award Winners. Winners are awarded recognition based on the votes of fellow community members of the World Architecture Community.

Baan Beauté spans floors 32, 33, 34 and 35 of Park Silom, covering almost 5,000m². The design concept "Beauty Meets Technology" takes inspiration from the vibrant colours of make-up, particularly red lipstick. The curved lines feel both refreshing and energising, while a curated range of hi-tech amenities is integrated into the office for an efficient workflow.
