Food connoisseurs and wine lovers are invited to take a deep dive into the complexity of spice and wine pairings at the "Wine & Spice" dinner, at Quince Bangkok on Aug 5 at 6pm.
This is a one-of-a-kind event led by chef and entrepreneur Dustin Joseph of Left Hand Coffee Roasters, sommelier Ottara Pyne of Wine Garage and hosted by chef Shane Reichenbach and the team at Quince Siri House.
The evening will be a foray into the unexplored possibilities of approaching non-traditional pairing concepts with open minds and intriguing palates.
The seven-course wine pairing will explore the unique gastronomic aspects of chillies, peppers and herbs through stimulating culinary concepts and carefully curated pairings.
The warming heat of ginger elevated with Gewurztraminer, the profound earthiness of Chinon Cabernet Franc sipped alongside punctuations of roasted chilli pepper, and the stimulating spiciness of Shiraz paired with long pepper and curry leaf; these are just some of the exciting flavour innovations that await guests on this special menu, which will also feature exquisite local caviar from Thai Sturgeon Farm.
The fee is 2,500 baht per person including all courses from the chefs and wines from Wine Garage. The menu can also be a la carte. Quince eatery is located at Siri House on Soi Somkid, Phloenchit Road.
