Get ready for a pizza party like no other! Thailand hosts the first “Pizza Week — Asia Edition” from Aug 28-30 in Bangkok.
The week will see some of the best 50 Top Pizza chefs from across the Asia-Pacific region converge in Bangkok for a week-long celebration of pizza artistry. 50 Top Pizza is a guide for the best pizzerias in the world, celebrating the art and passion behind pizza-making. 50 Top Pizza brings together the finest talents in the industry to share their knowledge and love for pizza.
Participating restaurants and dates are as follows:
• Aug 28: Marni from Phuket (No.38 on the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific list); Five Olives from Phuket (No.34); and Proof from Malaysia (No.46) will be dishing out their pizzas at Halfway Brunch & Roastery from 5pm to 12am.
• Aug 29: L’Oliva from Bangkok (No.21) and Pizzeria da Susy from India (No.13) will be serving at L'Oliva Ristorante Italiano & Wine Bar from 11am to 11pm.
• Aug 30: Massilia from Bangkok (No.7), A Mano from the Philippines (No.12) and 48h Pizza e Gnocchi Bar from Australia (No.5) will be dishing out at Massilia Ruamrudee from 5pm until late.
For three days, these establishments will collaborate to create exclusive, one-of-a-kind pizzas in collaborative a-la-carte special menus. Call each restaurant for reservations.
