More than 100 different flavours of mooncake from famous hotels and leading brands will be available on the same premises during Mooncake Fest 2024 which will kick off on Wednesday and run until Sept 17, on the 1st floor of CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road.
Set in a modern atmosphere filled with auspicious decorations such as flower-shaped lanterns and a family of rabbit dolls paired with the full moon, the festival offers a refreshing and vibrant atmosphere while presenting happiness, good fortune, wealth and prosperity to shoppers.
They can browse through delicious mooncakes with popular flavours like durian and new exotic flavours including mala (spicy and numbing sauce), mango with sweet fish sauce, chilli chocolate fillings, golden longan espresso and black truffle -- all presented in luxuriously designed boxes.
The hotels that offer both traditional signature fillings and new and inviting fillings are Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok; The Athenee Hotel; The Peninsula Bangkok; Shangri-la Bangkok; Park Hyatt; Bangkok Marriot Marquis; Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri; Grand Hyatt Bangkok Erawan; W Bangkok; Anantara Siam Bangkok; Centara Grand at CentralWorld; and Prince Palace Hotel.
Shop for mooncakes by famous brands including MX Cakes & Bakery, which has enjoyed the highest sales of mooncakes in Hong Kong for 26 consecutive years; Kyo Roll En whose premium flavours are prepared by a two Michelin-starred chef; and The Coffee Academic, which offers mooncakes in a reusable cooler bag. Other participating brands will be Hockwong X Disney, Holiday Pastry, Hai Di Lao, The Hong Kong Emperor and Bakery Hut.
