Japan lovers have until Sunday to enjoy beautiful floral displays and original Japanese dishes during "The Mall Japan Discovery 2024: Flower Symphony", which is running at The Mall Bangkapi, Lat Phrao Road.
Held annually for the 11th year, the festival has transformed the ground floor of the shopping mall into a garden of colourful blooms and floral displays to make everyone feel like they are in Japan.
Besides a floral immersive art exhibition designed for content creators to snap photos and share them on social media, the festival brings the flavours of delicious dishes straight from Japan.
This is an opportunity to try dishes that incorporate flowers into the recipes. They include Benibana Somen or a pink somen that reminds us of springtime; Sakura Mentaiko pasta that has beetroot as an ingredient; and Hotate Temari sushi that has kikuma flower in the rice ball.
Other delightful dishes include Uguisu Ball or plum flower-shaped crispy rice, Peach Panna Cotta, Coffee Jelly Parfait by Takada Coffee, Sakura Mochi, Kinmokusei Matcha Latte, Uji Matcha Mini Parfait, Sakura Smoothie and Lavender Soft Cream.
Also available are premium quality peaches and grapes imported by the Japan Fruit and Vegetable Export Promotion Council, premium fruit gift sets arranged with a floral theme by Ganon Florist, organic products made from lavender, handmade products and popular snacks.
The festival will repeat at The Mall Ngamwongwan from Sept 19-25; The Mall Thapra from Oct 12-18; The Mall Bangkae from Nov 2-10; and The Mall Korat from Nov 21-29.
