Premium products and foods imported from the US are presented during "Taste of America 2024", which is running at Gourmet Market at Paragon, Emporium, EmQuartier and Emsphere, until Sept 19.
Held in collaboration with the US Embassy, the fair features imported delicacies for those longing for the classic American style supermarket. They can enjoy shopping and tasting popular products from America at many zones.
The "Cheese Lover" zone presents handcrafted artisan cheeses from Wisconsin; and cheddar, parmesan, mascarpone and mozzarella made from the best cow's milk from California.
The "Beef Lover" zone sees a selection of premium prime-grade beef striploin, rib eye, tenderloin and chuck eye roll from the best farms in the US, while the "Seafood Lover" zone brings fresh Alaskan black cod, halibut, Alaskan sockeye salmon, lobster and scallop.
Also, look for the best picks such as Washington apples, green grapes, red grapes and baby carrots at the "Vegetable and Fruit" zone. Then, browse through favourite items such as spam canned pork and ham, seasoned ground turkey, organic dried oats, Tobasco sweet and spicy sauce, apple cider, cleaning products and a variety of American brand skincare at the "Snacks and Premium Goods" zone.
This is also a chance to experience the American culture through a variety of delicious dishes presented at the "You Hunt We Cook" counter. They include US prime beef striploin steak with fried potatoes and caramelised onion gravy; American-style beef burger; and Halibut Caddy Ganty.
