Seven days, three ingredients and one simple way to give back. The 12th annual Negroni Week takes place from Sept 16-22 all over Bangkok and in Phuket, celebrating the bonds between Campari and the world of mixology.
Campari, Italy’s iconic red apéritif, Imbibe Magazine and charitable partner Slow Food come together for Negroni Week to support the mission to foster a more equitable and sustainable world of food and beverage through a series of local events at bars, restaurants and retailers around the world. Since the cocktail’s creation in 1919, Campari has been the red heart of the Negroni, a cocktail showcasing the unique flavour profile of Campari.
Hosted by Campari and Alchemy Thailand, Negroni Week in Thailand is packed full of special events. Camparino Master Class with Tommaso Cecca will be held on Sept 16 at Paragon Cineplex. Cecca is the global head of Camparino Licensing & Mixology Camparino in Galleria, the legendary bar opened by Davide Campari in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in 1915.
Cecca will also open Negroni Week on Sept 16 at Firefly Bar, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and will be shaking and staring a few concoctions.
There’s no Negroni without Campari, just like there’s no bar industry without bartenders and the “Negroni Week Bar-Hopping” will see all proceeds going to The Foundation For The Deaf under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. The “Negroni Week Bar Hopping” will take place from Sept 16-22 and this year’s bar hop will include nine welcome drinks from best bartenders of “Campari Red Hands Thailand”, namely Bar Scofflaws, Bar Us, Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, Escape Bangkok, Opium Bar, Rabbit Hole Bangkok, Ray Cocktail And Bite, Rogue Affair Bar Bangkok, Tripper New Road, The O.S.S.
