For the spring/summer 2025 collection, Sirivannavari invites you to its Renaissance Art Studio, blending artistic inspirations from Michelangelo's life-size marble sculptures to Botticelli's Birth Of Venus and shimmering mosaics. Emphasising sinuous curves, graphic lines and transparency, the collection reflects the contrasting elements in human nature -- fragility and strength.
Influenced by sculptural elements, from shapes and forms to organic materials like solid, veined marble and light-enduring sand dunes, the Sirivannavari spring/summer 2025 collection by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, founder and creative director, features ensembles crafted from draped, wrapped or tied light and transparent fabrics, including organza and chiffon to evoke the movement of ripples and whirlwinds of the sea, paired with contrasting materials like cotton, lace and leather. Unique touches include resin-coat on fabric and leather, imitating the fluid flow of a dress in marble sculpture. Mosaic effects add a shimmering-alternating-matte texture alongside crochet with technical handicrafting.
Long, flowing dresses with high waists evoke the fluid silhouettes of the Renaissance style. Yet, Sirivannavari's DNA modernises these elements through asymmetric cuts and deconstruction techniques, including cut-outs and draping. A palette of neutral tones, balanced between black and white, complements femininity's duality. Complex printed patterns, derived from the designer's original drawings and watercolour paintings, are stylised in light monotones for summer with sketching and collage techniques, referencing sculptures and their elements. Eveningwear incorporates bustiers with fluid lines, extreme cut-outs with handmade crochet or embroidery and transparency with gleaming metallics.
Promising to empower women, the collection offers versatile, audacious silhouettes for any occasion. From an elegant see-through trench coat, IRIS jacket and smart jumpsuits for daytime to leisure-chic beachwear with halterneck and cut-out detail in neutral tone, and the alluring high-cut gown for glamorous nights, each piece is adorned with jewel details functioning as fasteners, like belt buckles or brooches for wrap skirts, embodying aesthetics with practicality as the designer's philosophy.
For spring/summer 2025 menswear, the designer's flowing lines, inspired by earth elements, are prominent in printed patterns that combine the formal and informal. Asymmetric cuts hybridise traditional tailoring in oversized shirts and jackets paired with draped trousers. Earth-toned romantic colours -- pink, blue and white -- alongside fabrics like organza, brushed cotton, moiré, linen and denim, reflect the contradictions in masculinity through the looks of casual in formal, fluid shirt in solid trouser, loose in wrap, with respect to the wearer's comfort and movement
Amid the array of leather goods, returning is the slim hobo-saddle handbag La Belle, alongside two newcomers: a reticule-hobo handbag and hole-handle shopper. Crafted from soft nappa and calfskin in shades of off-white, black and blush pink, these objects of desire seem destined to be essential mix-and-match pieces, complementing the new Mesh Mules -- shoes that combine comfort, elegance and technical refinement with transparency and solidity, featuring a new signature sole.
The spring/summer 2025 sunglasses collection combines rock style and urban elegance with timeless sophistication. Sculpturally inspired, the panthos-rectangular frames are meticulously crafted from high-quality Japanese stainless steel for durability, comfort and UV protection. Hybridisation defines the details, from mixing rims to lenses and colours. The collection features feminine styles with the peacock open-work motif and SR logo hardware for masculine and unisex designs in a palette of light brown, pink, green and brown.
Finally, the ready-to-wear principles extend to bijoux collection. Inspired by an artist's studio, the spring/summer 2025 jewellery incorporates off-white ceramic, reminiscent of unfinished and broken sculptures, adding rich texture. Hands, central to the design, wraparound earrings, necklaces and heart pieces embody fragility, strength, sensitivity and assertiveness as a tribute to the complexity of feminine nature. A variety of stones in different forms, sizes and colours explore the art of decomposition, drawing inspiration from sculpture and allowing the jewellery to seamlessly embrace the body's contours. These creations reinterpret the designer's quote: "Love equals dangerousness."
