Shangri-La Bangkok will host the 21st “Raan Dung Ross Ded: RDRD Street Food Buffet Under The Stars @Poolside”. Bangkok’s only riverfront outdoor market features an all-you-can-eat buffet from stalls listed in the Michelin Guide Bangkok, along with Shangri-La Bangkok food stations and desserts in one venue, with live music entertainment and fun activities. Berry roadshow / Driscoll / Dec 10-31

Driscoll’s has announced a roadshow arriving in Thailand this month. The roadshow invites all to savour the taste and benefits of raspberries and blueberries at the interactive Berry Mobile Truck. At the truck, visitors can redeem a cup of berries by following Driscoll's social media accounts. Snap memorable photos with Driscoll’s fun Berry Mobile Truck, complete with cute berry-themed props. Participate in the “Regional Giveaway Activity” by liking the giveaway post on Driscoll’s Facebook page, sharing what makes Driscoll’s berries worth sharing, and celebrating and tagging two friends in the comments. Don’t forget to include a photo. Five lucky winners will receive a week’s supply of Driscoll’s berries. This activity will run from Dec 10-31 and winners will be announced on Jan 8. Visionary exploration / Sac Gallery / Dec 7 to Feb 1

SAC Gallery will host the “Living Light”, a private viewing show by the British-Thai artist Tuck Muntarbhorn. The debut solo show in Thailand offers a compelling opportunity to experience Tuck’s cutting-edge exploration of light, spirituality and the healing power of art, all set within an intimate, personal environment. “Living Light” stands apart from traditional gallery exhibitions, transforming a private residence into an immersive space where art transcends the visual and becomes an experience that engages all the senses. The show draws inspiration from Tuck’s design of Tuck Chapel in Merthyr Vale, Wales, which is a unique fusion of art, architecture and spiritual contemplation.

40th anniversary exhibitions / River City Bangkok / Until Jan 5 and  Jan 12  

River City Bangkok celebrates its 40th anniversary with two exhibitions. “Ad Astra Per Aspera: Through Hardships To The Stars” takes visitors on a journey 40 years back to Dec 1, 1984, when River City Bangkok was born from the vision of Adisorn Charanachitta, founder of Thailand’s first riverside antiques centre. It features an array of personal and historical artefacts, including letters, journals, personal belongings and the private notes of Adisorn. They illustrate the foundation of what began as “River City Shopping Complex” and its revolution into the art and cultural hub. “Before Sunrise” brings together the works of more than 40 talented artists from seven renowned galleries, all showcased under the theme of “Before Sunrise”. The concept symbolises hope and the profound beauty of emerging from darkness into light, mirroring the journey of resilience and growth. The exhibition reflects River City Bangkok’s remarkable four-decade-long odyssey, celebrating its enduring legacy and the brighter horizon ahead. "Ad Astra Per Aspera: Through Hardships to the Stars" runs until Jan 12 at RCB Artery, 1st Floor, River City Bangkok. Experience the magic of the holiday season with an exclusive array of themed buffets at Ventisi restaurant, Centara Grand at CentralWorld, running until Dec 31. Curated by executive chef Andrea Montella, the festive buffet showcases a premium selection of artisanal cheeses, complemented by a vibrant charcuterie station brimming with cured meats and accompaniments. The fabric used in the collection combines a blend of 58% nylon and 42% silk to deliver durability and quick-dry functionality alongside the silk's softness and sheen. The collection comes in a range of solid navy and orange with an embroidered elephant motif, and patterned prints with the Japanese origami-inspired star shadow, all incorporating a subtle Jim Thompson logo.
