Innerwear brand Sabina unveiled its latest lingerie collection designed by Cris Horwang, the well-known Thai actress and model, during a fashion show held in Bangkok recently

.Cris’s Collection III by Sabina has a “Dancing on the Rainbow” theme intended to offer women the option of presenting a brighter image. The collection consists of 10 lingerie sets of high-waisted panties, corsets, bodysuits and seamless panties in pastel tones made from a light, clear fabric. Cute elements like lace, feathers and ribbons have been added to heighten the sweet effect, with each item designed to cater to the demands of the busy, modern woman.
“I believe that every woman has her cuteness and sweetness hidden somewhere inside and that inspired me to come up with this collection,” Cris explained. “I have also designed [items] to be easily mixed and matched so that every woman can keep up with the latest trends.”
Cris also had some tips to share on how to mix and match lingerie to better project one’s sense of self-confidence.
“Colours, even for innerwear, symbolise many aspects of a woman including her style, tastes and true character, and mixing and matching lingerie of different colours should be considered as another key factor in dressing for those who wish to be confident in every situation,” explained the designer.
For self-confident women, Cris had another suggestion, a method of contrasting colours or colour-blocking when choosing lingerie; examples she gave included a combination of mint and lavender, or peach and light green. “For girls who want to have something simpler, mixing peach with basic colours like cream or white should also give a sweet look.”
“The way Thai women choose outfits, including innerwear, these days is totally different from the past,” said Amornthep Asepunya, executive director for strategic and business development at Sabina. “For lingerie, functionality is not the only quality Thai women are looking for any more. They also prefer to choose lingerie with unique themes or design gimmicks. Flexibility in mixing or matching lingerie items for daily life or special occasions is also a major factor.”
