A comprehensive range of medical devices, technologies, services and general healthcare will be presented during the "Medical Devices Asean 2018" at Impact Exhibition Hall 1-2, Muang Thong Thani, from tomorrow to Friday.
Held under the theme "Building The Future Of Healthcare", the trade exhibition is the country's first platform for the manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and distributors to showcase their products and services covering general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, rehabilitation medicine, radiology and diagnostic imaging, medical laboratory, IT in healthcare, medical instruments and consumables.
Set to participate will be more than 150 companies and brands from across the world including the US, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. More than 4,000 medical and healthcare professionals are expected to attend.
A highlight is the "MDA Congress" featuring a series of academic conferences on interesting topics conducted by leading experts from medical and healthcare industry.
There are also many activities that help strengthen the capability of medical device entrepreneurs in manufacturing, supplying, exporting and importing medical devices, as well as to enhance the potential of medical and healthcare professionals.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be offering information and advice to researchers and inventors on how to have their innovations and products legally approved by the FDA.

The Medical Science Department will present a consultancy clinic to provide guidance for international standard medical devices testing services by recognised accredited testing laboratories.
Also, the Board of Investment (BOI) will be hosting the "Medical Industry Networking" session to build networks between investors, entrepreneurs, both local and international, and public organisations related to medical devices industry, with the aim to make Thailand the "medical hub of Asia".
More than 4,000 medical and healthcare professionals are expected to attend the event.
