Official description

Work from artist and designer Pom Jitpratuk will be showcased during the
“Le Kinlaads” solo exhibition, which opens at Koi Art Gallery on Saturday.

The exhibition represents freedom, warmth and endless possibilities.
A place void of time and space, it has been built in the mind of the artist from previous letters, travels, experiences and thoughts.

In “Le Kinlaads”, Pom stays true to his approach of examining the different psyches of the human subconscious.

Due to images filled with blue skies and fluffy clouds, one cannot escape the dreamlike feeling the canvases hold. Breaking the confines of nature’s laws, there is no gravity to ground the subjects or restrict the overflow of emotions, especially ones pertaining to love.

The sweet yet serious sentiments in his work are represented by fancy and whimsical illustrations. Pom sources inspiration from the need for a change in pattern and everyday surroundings.

The exhibition will close on Feb 15. Koi Art Gallery is on Sukhumvit Soi 31 and opens daily, from 11am to 7pm.
