Sukosol Hotels is bringing back Harvard University's Din & Tonics to perform in front of their fans in Bangkok this weekend.

Affectionately called The Dins, the signature all-male a cappella group will give an evening performance in the beautiful Kamolporn Room of The Sukosol Bangkok, Si Ayutthaya Road, on Friday at 8.30pm. The boys will then perform at The Siam Hotel, Khao Road, on Saturday at 7.15pm.

The two concerts are part of their world tour showcasing a rich tradition of musical excellence. On both nights, the ensemble of 12 students will perform a programme that includes songs such as September, Lullaby Of Bird Land, Pure Imagination and McDonald's Girl.

The Dins have existed, in many different incarnations, since 1979, when they began to perform for the university community and local charitable organisations. They try to delight audiences by combining the traditional with the unexpected, consistently adding original, humorous and engaging choreography to perform a cappella "with a twist".

They have performed at Fenway Park, recorded an album in the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, appeared in the Hollywood flick Mona Lisa Smile, on the TV Shows Good Morning America and The Price Is Right, entertained former US President Bill Clinton and even wowed Ella Fitzgerald.

Tickets for the Friday show cost 699 baht including one standard cocktail/mocktail (499 baht for students including one soft drink) and 1,599 baht including cocktail and international buffet dinner at Patummat Restaurant. Tickets for the Saturday show cost 1,500 baht including free-flow cocktails, canapes and a 15% discount on Thai cuisine at Chon Restaurant.
