Sardinian Chef Roberto Panariello is a straight-shooting man of few words, but then again, you would be too, if your creations took on such a life of their own. Surrounded by a frenzy of poseurs, Chef Roberto holds fast to his Roman heritage and his cherished classics.

Homemade, but with hidden touches that make it near impossible to replicate, you’re taken on a cross-regional, four course feast, the likes of which would certainly satisfy even the most ravenous of eaters.

This year’s special festive menu all starts with a perfectly executed Eggplant Involtini with garlic, parmesan, and smoked Scamorza cheese, married with fresh pesto and homemade tomato sauce. This is followed by the creamy, bold and clear flavors of the Tuscan seafood soup that swim above a hearty loaf of Italian bread.

The main course of imported Gragnano pasta and lobster, cooked in the classic Sardinian style, is nothing short of heavenly. With plates cleaned and bursting seams, the meal is wonderfully rounded off with traditional handmade Cannolo pastry, crunchy pistachio, cream and strawberries.

The White Christmas, a cocktail made with white rum, Malibu, lime juice, and coconut syrup, is probably as close as you’re ever going to get to a White Christmas feeling in Bangkok. However, if you’re feeling just that little bit more daring, the rich, fruit and nutty amaretto Christmas cake is sure to deliver the knock-out blow.

Christmas remains a time for family and friends, a time for liveliness, and a time for good honest food. And the truth is, anyone can cook, but very few can create with passion.

This festive special is available on Sunday 24th December from 6pm-10.30 pm and is priced at just Baht 999 nett each.
