The catwalk is going to the dogs at Central Plaza Rama IX during the "Bangkok Pet Charity 2013" event from Wednesday until Sunday. It will be packed with fun activities for both dog lovers and their four-legged darlings.
The event will kick off with a charity fashion show on Wednesday at 4pm.
It will feature numerous stars and celebrities who will strut their stuff on the catwalk alongside their four-legged buddies.
However, no fancy dresses will be seen in this show as the models will be wearing T-shirts bearing the words "Bangkok Pet Charity 2013".
The T-shirts have been produced for the fair and will be available for sale at 399 baht throughout the five-day event. All proceeds will go to help stray and ill cats and dogs under The Voice project.
Visitors can view the Photo Art Gallery, where pictures of the celebrities mentioned above and their pets will be shown. The exhibition is designed to promote a sense of responsibility, love and kindness among pet owners.
Other highlights include the "Dog Fantastic Show" and a showcase of rarely-seen pets such as marmoset monkey, fennec fox, prairie dog and Tibetan mastiff. The fantastic show will be performed by dog stars at 5pm on Wednesday and be repeated on Thursday at 3pm and Friday through Sunday at 3.20pm. The showcase, however, will run only on afternoons from Friday to Sunday.
Pets, products, accessories and food will be for sale at special prices.
Call 02-103-5999 or 02-667-5555 ext 4114.
