Superheroes, characters and content from film, animation, manga, games and toys will be featured during “Thailand Comic Con 2015”, at the Royal Paragon Hall of Siam Paragon, on May 1-3, from 10.30am to 9pm.

Organised by Kantana Group and PPW Interactive, the convention’s second edition is an opportunity to experience Hollywood content from film studios such as Disney Studio, Warner Bros and 20th Century Fox. Highlighted will be the upcoming film, Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Collections of toys and collectibles never-before-seen in Thailand will be displayed, while major toy brands such as Hot Toys, Bandai, Takara Tomy, XM Studio, Imaginarium Arts and Herocross will bring superheroes to life.

There will also be a special, 200m² exhibition dedicated to Usavich, where visitors can explore the world of the two rabbits from the famous Japanese animated series.

The event is also a platform for various competitions, including the Cardfight Vanguard game, a cosplay contest for kids and teens, and the Anisong contest. Visitors will rub shoulders with international cosplay idols from Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

J-pop singers Tomomi Itano and Aira Yuuki, girl group Yumemiru Adolescence, and pop-rock quartet Dish will perform prior to the event, at the “Anime Idol Asia 2015” concert, also at the Royal Paragon Hall, on April 30, from 6pm to 9pm.
