To celebrate HM the King’s 88th birthday and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 5th cycle birthday, the Parents and Teachers Association of the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy presents the “Snow White & Paquita 2015” programme, as part of the 13th Charity Musical Dance Play, at Chiang Mai’s Kad Theatre, on May 17 at noon and 3.30pm.

The 30-minute Paquita will feature classical ballet, while the one-and-a-half-hour Snow White will feature dance styles including jazz, modern, contemporary, Latin, hip hop and flamenco.

The principal cast features both foreign and Thai dancers. They include Peera Phanlukthao, Phorphol Phasee, baritone singer Narach Kitavadhana, Megumi Nishimori, Khemruthai Chaiwipassatorn and Hannah Staton.

More than 300 students from the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy will join the performance, with Mom Luang Preeyapun Sridhavat, winner of the Outstanding Asean Women Entrepreneur Award 2015 in the art and culture category, in Hanoi, Vietnam, taking the role of artistic director.

Tickets cost 300, 500, 800 and 1,000 baht (special group rates for students are available) and can be purchased from Kad Suan Kaew shopping complex’s information counter and at the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. Proceeds will benefit the Thai Red Cross Society.
