Official description

Cirque du Soleil, the world’s largest theatrical troupe, will present Quidam, at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani from July 29-Aug 3.

Cirque du Soliel revolutionised the traditional circus by turning it into an extravaganza of the stage.

This is Asia’s first arena show by the contemporary act, which has produced more than 30 shows and entertained more than 155 million people on six continents since 1984.

Quidam is the troupe’s ninth production. It originated as a big-top show in Montreal in 1996 and was converted to arena format before touring North America in 2010.

The show tells the story of Zoe, who is alienated and ignored by her parents, and dreams up the whimsical world of Quidam as a means of escaping her monotonous life.

The show combines a mix of acrobatic skills and traditional circus acts. Each of the 11 performances, which span six days, is a display of acrobatic artistry, beauty and strength, combined with a parade of delicate costumes, as well as fantastic light, sound and special effects.

Tickets for Cirque du Soleil Quidam Live in Bangkok 2015 cost 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 baht.
They will be available from Thai Ticket Major(www.thaiticketmajor.com), from May 29.
