More than 40 start-ups and leading organisations will join “BKK Start-up Job Fest” at C Asean Center this weekend from 9am-6pm.
Organised under the theme “Bringing Silicon Valley to Bangkok” by GetLinks, an application for the personnel of start-ups, the event is aimed at creating a network to enhance and support big enterprises, successful start-ups, newly established start-ups and those seeking opportunities in the start-up business.
It also expects to raise awareness of the important role of technology start-ups (tech start-ups) in pushing Thailand to become a digital economy.
This is the first chance for members of the younger generation to exchange ideas with leading tech start-ups and learn about the differences between start-ups and big enterprises through a series of keynote addresses and panel discussions, starting at 12.30pm on both days. Speakers are from the country’s leading start-ups such as Lazada Thailand, Ascend, Ookbee, Uber Thailand, Kaidee, Priceza, Garena, aCommerce, Hubba Thailand, Techsauce, Pomelo Fashion, HotNow, WearYouWant, Oozou and Hotel Quickly.
Big companies and leading organisations and associations will also have an opportunity to talk with professionals from various careers who are seeking new challenges and can recruit new staff. They include Google Thailand, SCB, DTAC Accelerate, Accenture, IBM, Software Park Thailand and Thailand Tech Start-up Association.
