Official description

More than 400 art pieces by local artists are on display for the 20th “Charity Art Exhibition... Tribute to Her Majesty the Queen” on the mezzanine floor of the Montien Hotel on Surawong Road, until Sept 13.

The collection features paintings in various techniques including acrylic, crayon, oil and watercolour; drawings; abstract paintings, as well as sculptures by 400 artists from the Independent Artists Group ‘96 led by veteran painter Saman Klangchaturat. Four paintings created by HRH Princess Soamsawali are also included.

All proceeds from sales of the artworks will go to support the Thai Red Cross Society under the royal patronage of HM the Queen.

The exhibition is open for public viewing daily from 10am-8pm and there is also a hat painting workshop conducted by artists from the group every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm, free of charge (except for materials).
