The Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD) will introduce eight global megatrends during the 4th OKMD Knowledge Festival at the World Ballroom of Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld on Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm.
Held in collaboration with Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park), Thailand Creative and Design Centre (TCDC) and the National Discovery Museum Institute (NDMI), the event will feature an exhibition and a series of seminars and talks, under the theme “Know Your Trend, Know Your Future: Global Trends Bring In Opportunities”.
The exhibition will present eight emerging global megatrends that result in significant changes in people’s behaviours and ways of life, which consequently lead to the rise of new profit making businesses. They are connectivity, digital age, ageing society, urbanisation, new generation, world friendly, global knowledge society and womenomics (sheconomy).
Participants will have an opportunity to meet thought leaders and leading entrepreneurs, who have built their reputation setting, harnessing and forecasting megatrends.
Local entrepreneurs will discuss and identify business developments which help them come up with products and services that really meet the needs of today’s customers.
New-generation entrepreneurs will share knowledge and skills that have perfectly integrated with modern technology, creativity and management styles to create added value in their careers.
