Official description

B-Floor Theatre is staging Mano Land, an absurd dance performance, that reflects the absurdity of existence at Pridi Banomyong Institute daily at 8pm on Oct 16-19 and Oct 22-26, plus a 3pm matinee on Sundays.

The production examines and challenges one of Albert Einstein’s most famous quotes: “Imagination is more important than knowledge”.

Choreographed and directed by Teerawat “Ka-ge” Mulvilai, the performance gets inspiration from human behaviour on social media where people are easily prompted to spread and believe everything shared on social media platforms without checking its authenticity.

Unlike Teerawat’s previous physical theatre productions, Mano Land focuses on the form of body movement that reflects the thoughts and ideas the performers may have in mind and what kind of movement occurs when they are thinking and when they are not.

The production is part of the Diversity Art Festival 2015. Tickets cost 600 baht (500 baht for advanced tickets) and 450 baht for students (350 baht for advanced tickets).

Pridi Banomyong Institute is on Sukhumvit 55, Thong Lor.
