Official description

Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World is exploring the fascinating story of sharks during the “Shark Weeks” exhibition, which runs through October.

Children, adults, or anyone with an interest in the marine mammals will learn about six species of sharks — sand tiger shark, leopard shark, tawny nurse shark, black tipped reef shark, bamboo cat shark and Port Jackson shark — through the glass floors that provide an up-close view of them as they swim around and are fed by Sea Life staff.

Activities include a DIY workshop on making wearable shark fins; an exhibition of shark facts; a puppet show entitled Lost In The Shark World; and a talk by three guest speakers from various fields of expertise to expand visitors' horizons through shared knowledge about sharks.

A shark feeding show is at 1pm and 4pm daily, while the Lost In The Shark World puppet show runs four times a day at 11.40pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm on weekdays. The guest speaker talks take place on weekends and public holidays at 12.45pm and 3.45pm.

Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World is on B1 and B2 floor at Siam Paragon, Rama I Road. Tickets cost 490 baht per adult and 350 baht for children between the ages of 3-11. Visit www.sealifebangkok.com or call 02-687-2000.
