Official description

Continuing as the market of choice for Bangkok artisans, the next “Spring Epicurean Market” on Oct 25 will once again feature around 35 stalls at Spring Summer Restaurant from 8am to 1pm.

This time round, Joe Sloane will man the BBQ, Michael Conkey will bring his famed bread and The Accidental Butcher will be there in person for people to discover, among various delicious meats, his real name. Also attending will be Fon and Julian of Polpa salads, Brett from Ceresia Coffee Roasters, Michael Riley of Twist Juices and Paleo Robbie.

Making a guest appearance this month will be another prominent local foodie, Jess Barnes, who will be visiting with his speciality pickles.

Besides offering a carefully-curated selection of food and a chance to meet the people who actually make it, this market acts as a dynamic "town square" forum for the appreciation of good food where shoppers are encouraged to actively question the processes and origins of food and for vendors to appreciate the direct interaction and feedback.

As this month’s market falls the week before Halloween, pumpkins will also be available.

Spring Summer Restaurant is on Soi Promsri (Sukhumvit 49).
