Who's top dog?

If you're hungry next month, pop down to the “Hot Dogs Eating Contest 2016”, which will be held on the terrace of 25 Degrees Burger Bar at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, Silom Road, on May 13, at 5pm.

Held for the first time, the fun contest is open to anyone who loves the Sonoran Mexican hot dog and can eat as many as possible within 15 minutes.

The chefs will prepare an assortment of hot dogs, served with various toppings such as beans, grilled onions, fresh onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise, cream sauce, mustard and jalapeño salsa or sauce.

The winner will be awarded a pair of round-trip Bangkok-Hong Kong air tickets with Thai Airways, plus a two-night stay, including breakfast for two people at the Bay Bridge Hong Kong by Hotel G. The second and third placed participants will receive a cash prize worth 5,000 baht and a complimentary voucher for a set lunch menu at 25 Degrees for two people.

Interested people should make a short video introducing themselves and explaining why they should be chosen as one of the contestants. The video should be posted on www.facebook.com/25DegreesBangkok by May 6. Only 10 candidates will be picked to join the contest.
