More than 100 classic cars will be showcased during the “40th Glossy Heritage Awards” at Future Park and Zpell, Phahon Yothin Road, from Wednesday to Sunday.
Held in collaboration with the Vintage Car Club of Thailand, this year’s event is to celebrate World Motoring Heritage Year 2016 as named by FIVA, the international federation of historic vehicles, with Unesco as the official patron.

Roll out the vintage cars
More than 100 classic cars will be showcased during the “40th Glossy Heritage Awards” at Future Park and Zpell, Phahon Yothin Road, from Wednesday to Sunday.
Held in collaboration with the Vintage Car Club of Thailand, this year’s event is to celebrate World Motoring Heritage Year 2016 as named by FIVA, the international federation of historic vehicles, with Unesco as the official patron.
The highlight will be a vintage car contest which will categorise entries into seven classes in accordance with FIVA’s standard. They include Antique (manufactured before 1904), Veteran (1905–1918), Vintage (1919–1930), Pre-War Classic (1931–1945), Post-War Classic (1946–1960), Classic (1961–1970) and Modern (1971-present).
There will also be contests on reproduced cars, modified cars and specially-invented cars including Volkswagen, American cars, Jaguar and Mini. More than 100 special models of classic cars will be displayed in a vintage atmosphere.
