The Smurfs save spring

The small and adorable Smurfs are coming to town for the first time to transform the wintery breeze into a colourful spring during "The Smurfs Live on Stage Bangkok 2016" at Muang Thai GMM Live House at CentralWorld from this Friday to Sunday. The showtime is 4pm and 7pm, plus a noon matinee on Saturday and Sunday.

Presented by 6889 Advertising & Entertainment, the world-class family entertainment will bring to life the comic characters by Belgian cartoonist Peyo and feature their life-size mushroom-shaped forest houses, vibrant backdrops and wonderful singalong music.

Called "Smurfs Save Spring", this musical story revolves around the eight favourite Smurfs characters including Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf and Smurfette on a magical adventure where they battle the wicked sorcerer Gargamel and save Mother Nature while promoting family values and the power of a true team spirit among children.

The story is set in spring when the Smurfs are busy preparing for the much-awaited annual spring parade. But while they make merry and sing and dance with excitement, the evil Gargamel comes up with a plan to trick Mother Nature, bring an end to the festivities and catch the Smurfs in the process.

Tickets for the 90-minute live show cost 1,000, 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500 baht and can be purchased from www.showbooking.com (call 02-984-0470 or 094-685-8811) and www.thaiticketmajor.com (call 02-262-3456).
