Leading artists in Japanese pop culture and entertainment will take centre stage during the "Anime Festival Asia Thailand (AFATH 2016)" at the Royal Paragon Hall, fifth floor of Siam Paragon this Friday to Sunday from 11am-5pm.

Following the huge success of its debut festival last year, which drew 75,000 visitors within three days, the second edition will be packed with fun activities with anisong artists, famous voice actors, producers, cosplayers and those behind popular animations. The highlight will be the "I Love Anisong" concert, which will feature the largest gathering of popular Japanese singers and voices behind popular anime soundtracks. The concert will take place on Friday and Saturday at 7pm, with a different line-up.

Taking to the stage in the first show will be Eir Aoi, Garnidelia, Luna Haruna and Suzuko Mimori while Aimer, Lia, Livetune and May'n will perform in the second show.

Set to meet Thai fans in full gear will be some of the best cosplayers from across Asia. They include Angie from Malaysia, Ely from Taiwan, Liui from the Philippines, Sansin and Tomia from South Korea, Baozi & Hana from China, Hikari from Canada, Konomi Akira from Japan and Siutao from Honk Kong.

For game lovers, the number one game Final Fantasy XV Online will be launched for the first time in Southeast Asia, along with other exciting games such as World Of Final Fantasy, Attack On Titan, One Piece and the new version of Gundam.

The latest and exclusive toys from Japanese brands such as Gunpla, Banpresto, Megahouse and Tamashii Nations will be available. Popular anime figures from Megahouse will offer up to 80% discounts. Tickets cost 150 baht for the exhibition zone and 390 baht for both exhibition zone and main stage. A one-day pass is 1,900 baht (3,300 baht for VIP) and a two-day pass costs 3,500 baht (6,000 baht for VIPs), both including admission to the "I Love Anisong" concert.
