Farmers' market at Siam Paragon

Fresh produce from Thailand’s northern highlands are being brought to the stylish urban market during the “Royal Project Market@Siam Paragon” which kicks off today and runs through Monday, daily from 11am to 8pm.

Held in collaboration with the Royal Project Foundation, the fair sees the Parc Paragon of Siam Paragon transformed into a contemporary farmers market catered to the demand and trendy lifestyle of urban dwellers and the new generation. It is decorated with woods to resemble the highlands’ luxuriant nature.

It gathers a wide range of quality agricultural products from the Royal Projects, with highlighted products including avocados, mushrooms and various types of grains. Other seasonal items available are passion fruits, peaches, premium tea, fresh flowers, temperate vegetables and flowers.

Inspirational healthy cuisine cooked to perfection are also available for taste experiences. Among the dishes is smoked hay mushroom soup to be served with three kinds of sandwiches. Desserts range from mixed grain shortcake to open cookie with cream cheese and fruit.

The fair also launches a new book titled Food for Health: Mushroom-Avocado-Grain, which offers a glimpse of natural magnificence as well as promoting initiatives and products from 38 Royal Project Development Centres undertaken by the Royal Project Foundation. The book is priced at 390 baht, with all proceeds going to the Royal Project Foundation’s highland agricultural development projects.
