Vietnam is expected to receive an estimated record $17.5 billion (570 billion baht) in foreign direct investment (FDI) this year, up 10.8% from a year earlier, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on Tuesday.

FDI is a key source of growth for Vietnam's export-driven economy, which received $15.8 billion in FDI inflow last year.
