The high cost of living heads the top 10 issues the people are most concerned about, according to the result of a survey by Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, or Suan Dusit Poll.
The poll was conducted on Feb 6-10 on 1,273 people throughout the country.
Asked to name the issues they are most concerned about, 78.32% mentioned the high cost of living.
This was followed by the current slump in trade and investment (69.05%); road accidents and traffic problems (66.46%); political conflicts, particularly uncertainty over the election (63.45%); health problems (63.08%); occupations and sources of income (61.67%); environmental problems (45.17%); the quality of Thai education (43.12%); double-standards in law enforcement (42.81%); and morality problems in society (40.93%).
