Two young women killed in Chai Nat accident

CHAI NAT: A 21-year-old heiress of a major pork business and a female friend were killed when a pick-up truck they were travelling in skidded off a rural road in Sankhaburi district and hit a roadside tree on Sunday morning.

Police identified them as Prapassorn Robroo, 21, the heiress to her family's business, and Varada Charoensombat, 21.

The two succumbed to their severe injuries on the spot, and their bodies were extracted from the badly damaged Toyto Vigo by a rescue team. The crash occurred at about 10am on rural road No.4050 near a village in tambon Pho Ngam of Sankhaburi district. 

Relatives of the deceased relatives told police the two were rushing to attend a monk ordination ceremony at Wat Khang Khao temple, only two kilometres from the scene of the crash. Ms Prapassorn was at the wheel.
