His Majesty the King has appointed ACM Satitpong Sukvimol to the positions of director-general of the Crown Property Bureau and Lord Chamberlain, succeeding Chirayu Israngkun Na Ayuthaya.
The appointment was made on Sunday and was published in the Royal Gazette on Monday. It said His Majesty the King appointed Mr Chirayu a privy councillor and the appointment left vacant the positions of the director-general of the Crown Property Bureau and Lord Chamberlain.
The appointment of ACM Sathitpong took immediate effect.
Mr Chirayu had been director-general of the bureau since 1987 and Lord Chamberlain since September 2016, when ACM Satitpong was appointed Grand Chamberlain.
