A highway accident on the Chanthaburi-Sa Kaeo road late Thursday killed six people and seriously injured four others.
Police said the accident on Highway 317 occurred around 9.30pm near the Wang Nam Yen market.
A white pickup plunged into the roadside ditch and overturned. The victims were apparently all teenagers, and were riding in the bed of the truck.
Rescue workers sent the injured to Wang Nam Yen District Hospital in southern Sa Kaeo province, where the accident occurred.
All four injured teens were in serious condition, hospital workers said.
