A teacher sacked from a private school in Min Buri district has lodged a complaint with police against its director, claiming he fired her after she went to education authorities and accused him of sexual harassment.

Phattharaphon Klinphirom said she was fired on June 22, soon after seeking help from state agencies.

The 40-year-old teacher told Crime Suppression Police (CSD) Monday that she sought help after the director suspended her after accusing her of threatening students.

Ms Phattharaphon said that the accusation was false and came soon after the director -- whose name was withheld -- had made a string of unsuccessful sexual advances towards her.

Ms Phattaraphon said the school director had kept sending her Line messages asking her for "private talks", and one containing lewd video clips.

"During seminars or out-of school meetings, he found every given opportunity to try and embrace me," Ms Phattaraphon claimed.

She said other female colleagues had also been harassed.

"But everyone kept their mouth shut for fear of being dismissed," Ms Phattharaphon claimed.

Ms Phattharaphon said she has been a teacher for 11 years and had taught in the school's kindergarten for five of them

She said everything was fine until 2015 when the director was appointed.

"Sexual harassment alone is bad enough. I also have had to face unfair treatment at work," Ms Phattharaphon said after filing her complaint with a CSD inspector.
