Rajabhat student crowned Miss Tiffany's Universe

PATTAYA: A 21-year-old mass communication student has been crowned Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2018 at the annual beauty contest for transgender women held in this resort city in Chon Buri province on Friday.

Kanwara “Esmon” Kaewcheen, who studies at Rajabhat University’s Dusit campus, will represent Thailand in the Miss International Queen contest, to be held in Pattaya next year. 

Ms Kanwara was awarded a Honda Jazz RS sponsored by Pratunam Polyclinic, 200,000-baht cash reward, gift vouchers from cosmetic brands and beauty clinics, as well as a room package at a hotel.

The first runner-up was Teerachaya “Book” Pimkittidej, 22, a second-class honour bachelor of arts from Silapakorn University while Voravalan “Nam” Taveekarn, 24, from Faculty of Education, Rajabhat University's Suan Sunantha campus was the second runner-up.

The Miss Tiffany’s Universe pageant is open to all transgender women who may or may not have undergone sex reassignment surgery.
