A woman was slightly injured when she fainted and hit the side of a train as it arrived at the BTS Mo Chit station during rush hours on Monday morning.
The incident occurred at 8.32am on the Sukhumvit Line. The passenger collapsed as the train was coming to a complete stop at the platform. She fell and hit the train.
The platform was closed while she was given first aid and then taken to hospital, causing passenger congestion at the station. Train services were apparently not disrupted.
According to BTS, the woman received only slight injuries. Her condition was safe and and she was under medical observation.
BTS also said that passengers who feel dizzy while waiting for a train should call for a member of the staff, or just sit down on the floor, and they would be immediately attended to.
