Jedtavee takes Optimist honours in Phuket

>>Phuket: Jedtavee Yongyuennarn emerged victorious in the Optimist, winning both the overall and boy's competitions, with Panwa Boonnak and Patihan Vorrsart coming second and third as the Dinghy events ended at the Phuket King's Cup Regatta yesterday.

Suthon Yampinid competes in the Laser 4.7 class.

Patcharee Sringam won the girls' Optimist competition and was placed fourth overall. Paravee Dangpratum and Suchanaree Detthosapol followed her.

Nattapong Yoang-ngam was the winner in the Topper class, with Sarawuth Kun-ak coming up second and Thanaiton Maefildoe third.

Suthon Yampinid won the Laser 4.7 class, with Patteera Meeyousamen and Paliga Poorpat finishing as runners-up.

In the Laser Standard, Keerati Bualong claimed the title. Chairat Dangdeemark and Tanakhon Kaewluan were runners-up.

In the Laser Radial, Manat Phothong took the top honours, with Katoon Jundet second and Juckrawut Kaew-on third.

In the 420cm class, Terada Fakkaew and Piyaporn Kaemkaew were declared overall winners while Chanavee Khongprom and Ratthanan Rakmani came second. Adisak Kingkaew and Kanchai Wongpaduang ended up third.

In IRC0, Ray Roberts and his Team Hollywood were the first to beat the previously undefeated THA72, skippered by Tom and Kevin Whitcraft.

In IRC1, Japanese entry Karasu won two races yesterday and the other went to David Fuller's Fujin. The tournament ends today.
