>>Thai U23 team coach Zoran Jankovic is pressing his players to bring out their best against Australia in the warm-up game, the final tune-up for the side today, before the AFC U23 Championship, which kicks off next week.

The War Elephants, who trained in cold weather of six degrees Celsius in Shanghai yesterday, play their first Group B game with North Korea U23 on Wednesday. Their second match will be against defending champions Japan next Saturday and third against Palestine on Jan 16.

Jankovic said: "The warm-up game with Australia's U23 team will be the last big training exercise for the team.

"I will try to allow every player at least 45 minutes of match time to let them adjust to the weather and the pitch.

"The result of the game with Australia is not important. We have to see their overall performance. If we cannot win but the form is fine, I'll still be happy.

"It is the last game for the players to test their skills. I want the players to bring out their best form in this game."

The warm-up game will be played at Shanghai's Qiantan Sport Center at 2pm (Thai time).
