England striker Harry Kane limped off just half an hour into Tottenham Hotspur's 4-1 Premier League victory over Bournemouth on Sunday to compound an already disappointing week for Spurs.

Still reeling from crashing out of the Champions League to Juventus in midweek, the visitors went behind early on at the Vitality Stadium to Junior Stanislas's seventh minute strike.

Kane appeared to damage his ankle when he was caught by Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic when putting the ball in the net, but the flag had already been raised for offside.

Spurs overcame the injury scare to keep their Premier League top-four hopes on track with the 4-1 victory.

The win moved Tottenham into third, a point above Liverpool, and five points clear of fifth-place Chelsea with eight games remaining in the race for Champions League qualification.
